Ten Years Passed
This performance experiment attempts to articulate what I would like to communicate to my father, was I able to re-live my only brief meeting with him, ten years ago.
The piece takes it's form in 7 sections, each another alternative, imagined 'meeting,' played out in the performance space. These vary as quiet, delicate object-based actions; progressive, effortful movement sequences; glimpses of text and video, and moments of communion and silence.
This work has been shown recently at The Arches, Glasgow, and BAC, London.
